Two truths and a (sneaky) little lie. Think you can spot the fib?
Yesterday was my birthday, so I’m keeping things light this week. I spent the morning with hiking with friends on one of my favorite winter trails (High King / Scarce O’ Fat Trails in Yellowwood State Forest), had Thai food for lunch in Bloomington, ran some errands, and finished the day with cake and a game night at home with Clint and the girls.
It was a pretty perfect day!
But today, I’m back at it—and I’ve got a little challenge for you. Let’s play Two Truths and a Lie. Remember that game?
Here we go:
1️⃣ I’ve lived and worked in Brown County since 2016.
2️⃣ Brown County only has three stoplights in the entire county.
3️⃣ There are over 125 shops just in downtown Nashville, Indiana alone.
One of these is a lie…can you guess which one? Let me know!
And since we’re talking about Brown County, things are picking back up after a quiet January. If you’ve been thinking about planning a trip here, now’s the time—there are live music events, workshops, and fun happenings all over town.
I’ve rounded up everything going on in my February events calendar.
That event calendar is the perfect place to start if you’re planning a February visit. Let me know if you have any questions—I’d love to help point you in the right direction—and I can’t wait to hear which of the three statements above you think is the lie!
Have a great week and happy guessing!
Kara
P.S. I’ll share which one is the lie in next week’s email.

Cheers to another year of health and happiness from Clint and me in the kitchen of 3-West at the Brown County Barn Burner.
